Spring Thyme Herb Farm
We are a small family farm using organic growing practices to produce healthy, fragrant herbs and vibrant edible flowers. Our herbs and flowers are carefully harvested by hand and packed to order to ensure superior quality and freshness. We started growing organically in 1989 and became certified organic shortly thereafter. In addition to being a USDA certified organic grower, certified by Pennsylvania Certified Organic, we are a USDA certified organic processor and work with other carefully selected certified high quality organic herb growers to ensure year round availability of our products.
During the summer months when our herbs are at peak fragrance and vitality, we harvest and immediately steam distill small batches of carefully selected herbs. Using copper stills we produce hydrosols and small quantities of essential oils. These methods produce exceptionally fragrant, lovely hydrosols and oils. These hydrosols and essential oils are USDA certified organic by Pennsylvania Certified Organic. Our hydrosols are available to wholesale customers and can also be purchased by individuals on our website.
